Our client, one of the largest cable providers in the U.S. with several million subscribers, was becoming increasingly concerned with the recent trend in service interruptions across its voice, video and data services. These incidents were becoming more visible to subscribers, and to the public at large via the press. They were damaging the company’s image and brand, and potentially exacerbating the recent drop in video subscribers. A senior executive conceived and sponsored a program to improve service resiliency and significantly reduce the number of customer impacting incidents.

S2C Methodology

A major MSO engaged Sequencia to perform “deep dive” technical assessments of core services to identify and address underlying vulnerabilities. Using a structured approach, we assessed the architecture and configuration of the underlying service platforms, identifying several vulnerabilities and making detailed recommendations for addressing them.
